GEORGE SERLIN & SON STOR - A - WILE DECO WALNUT TAMBOUR FRONT COCKTAIL CABINET

George Serlin set up in the early 30s after my

They made and sold a lot of furniture during the pre-war period for Times Furnishing. In the 50s  they made cocktail cabinets well in to the 60s.

I know that they also imported furniture but don't have more details than that. They also did reproduction furniture in the 60s and 70s.

The company stopped making traditional furniture in the early 70s and made flat pack furniture for Woolworths, changing it's name in the process to HomePac.

This laterly became Lancelot Furniture and is still in business although no longer with a Serlin connection. Lancelot are based in Park Street near Radlett, Herts.
